Ultrasonic sensors

EGE ultrasound sensors are used for the contactless object detection, distance measurement and filling level measurement with up to 6 metres measuring distance. EGE offers ultrasound sensors for applications in humid environments in protection class IP 68/IP 69 K and ultrasound sensors in small compact designs. Ultrasound sensors continuously issue an ultrasound pulse. The signal is reflected at the object surface. The distance to the object is calculated from the runtime of the echo. In addition to distance measurement and filling level detection, the sensors are also used as proximity switches for presence verification, position and movement monitoring and the counting of objects and the speed control on conveyor belts.
