Gettorf –
High-temperature inductive proximity switches from sensor expert EGE are now
also available as M18 and M30 models. The sensors from the IRTS/IDTS series are
manufactured from PEEK and aluminum or stainless steel. Thanks to their robust
design, they are suitable even for long-term use at ambient temperatures up to
250 °C, e.g. in varnishing furnaces or brick kilns. Depending on the model,
they offer switching distances between 10 and 40 mm.
The sensor
head is connected via a high-temperature plug connection. The cable is
especially robust and heat-resistant. In case of mechanical damage, a
replacement sensor head can be installed easily and quickly, thus minimizing
maintenance time and material costs. The electronics are housed separately in a
cable amplifier.
