Gettorf – EGE has published a new information brochure providing users with a comprehensive overview about protection measures against gas explosion hazards. The European ATEX 100a directive which has been regulating the handling of devices and safety systems in hazardous areas since July 1, 2003, is explained in full detail. Furthermore, the brochure contains key information about gas Ex zones, product codes and frequently used terms. It also presents EGE's product portfolio for explosive atmospheres (flow controllers and level controllers, inductive proximity switches and accessories).
