Gettorf – Designed for increased requirements, various lines of inductive proximity switches from EGE are suited for environments that cause malfunctions in conventional sensors. Sensors from the new blue series fulfill EMC requirements beyond those of the EN 61000-6-4 standard. In addition to standards compliance tests, the sensors also pass a wide range of tests simulating electromagnetic interference fields which typically occur in modern industrial environments. Thus, they are especially suited for installation in the close proximity of frequency inverters and motors.
EGE provides various models for use in a temperature range between -25 and +120 °C, featuring switching distances between 2 and 200 mm. Users can choose between M12, M18 and M30 standard models and cylindrical sensors. The units are connected via a fixed cable or an M12 plug connection.
